Amos Blessing 
Amos was born in 1817 in Greene County, Ohio. Amos' father was John Blessing and his mother was Clarissa Elizabeth Skeen. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Blessing and Elizabeth Ritschart. He had six brothers and a sister, named Reuben, Abraham, Marcus, John, Isaac, Joseph Josiah and Catherine. He was the third youngest of the eight children.-
