Moses Birdwell 
Moses was born in 1800 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Moses' father was John Birdwell and his mother was Mary Allen. His paternal grandparents were George Birdwell and Mary. He had two brothers and eight sisters, named Allen, John, Nancy, Elizabeth, Sarah H., Jane, Susan C., Lucinda, Ann and Tabitha. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 31 in 1831 in Lawrence County, Alabama.-
