Dorcas Jane Armstrong 
Dorcas Jane was born on July 11th, 1826 in Hawkins Co., Tennessee. Dorcas Jane's father was John Armstrong and her mother was Mary Charles. Her maternal grandparents were James Charles and Dorcas Miller. She had four brothers and six sisters, named James, Clinton, John, Wiley, Mary B., Katherine, Millie, Tabitha, Eliza and Louisiana G.. She was the second oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 75 on April 22nd, 1902.-
