Jamima was born on May 7th, 1762 in Cane Creek, Orange Co., NC. Jamima's father was Thomas Curran Sr. VESTAL and her mother was Elizabeth DAVIS . Her paternal grandparents were William II VESTAL and Elizabeth MERCER . She had six brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named William Sr., Thomas Curran Jr. "Forbush Tom" , John , Jesse, David , Silas , Hannah, Mary Jane and Rachel . She was the fourth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 70 on July 23rd, 1832 in Wilmington, Clinton Co., OH.General Notes
