Ida was born in 1873 in Polk Co., TX. Ida 's father was Joseph S. NETTLES and her mother was Minerva Caroline MEECE. Her paternal grandparents were Malachi T. . NETTLES and Harriet Ann ANDRESS ; her maternal grandparents were William C MEECE and Hannah UNKNOWN. She had three brothers and two sisters, named James W, Carl Franklin , Malaciah , Annie and Iola.
