Lydia was born on April 7th, 1766 in New Garden, Guilford Co., NC . Lydia's father was Zacharias Dicks and her mother was Ruth Hiatt. Her paternal grandparents were Nathan Dicks and Deborah Clark; her maternal grandparents were George Hiatt and Martha Wakefield . She had two brothers and five sisters, named Nathan (Dix), Peter, Deborah, Martha, Esther, Ruth and Mary. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 46 on February 1st, 1813 in OH.General Notes
