Tabitha was born on December 10th, 1779 in Granville Co., NC. Tabitha's father was Joel Jr Chandler and her mother was Jane "Jenny" HAYS. Her paternal grandparents were Joell CHANDLER and Priscilla Temple MIMMS . She had eight brothers and four sisters, named David , Daniel , William , Robert , John B, Matthew , Thomas , Henderson, Jane "Jenny" , Parthenia, Susanna "Sarah" and Elizabeth . She was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 70 on August 18th, 1850 in Jackson Co., Georgia .General Notes
