Alexander "Alex" was born on May 28th, 1847 in Monroe, Morgan Co., IN. Alexander "Alex"'s father was James CAMPBELL and his mother was Sarah Anna RAIRDEN. His paternal grandparents were George CAMPBELL and Nancy UNKNOWN; his maternal grandparents were James RARIDEN and Ellender (Ellen) Chandler. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Abigail , Wesley , Samuel, Martin, Mitchell , Elizabeth , Mary Ann and Rebecca Jane . He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 59 on June 11th, 1906 in South English, Keokuk Co.,.General Notes
