Her maternal grandparents were Valentine MAYO and Ann PATTERSON . She had six brothers and three sisters, named Roland , Isham R., Obadiah , Joseph, Joseph Mayo, James , Anne Nancy, Sarah and Nancy . She was the second oldest of the ten children. She had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Thomas Dodson, Elias Dodson, Mary Jane , Catharine Anne , Nancy Frances and Zerilda .-
