William James BOYD 
William James was born in April 1832 in Meriwether, Baldwsin Co., GA. William James' father was Alexander P. BOYD and his mother was Sarah Ann HINTON. His paternal grandparents were John BOYD and Eleanor UNKNOWN; his maternal grandparents were UNKNOWN HINTON and Elizabeth McDOUGALD. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John D. , Robert Alexander , Joseph A. , Elisha H., Rufus Jefferson , Elizabeth C. , Sarah A. "Sally" and Martha B.. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 76 on September 5th, 1908 in Carroll Co., GA .-
