Sarah was born about 1826 in AR. Sarah 's father was Daniel BLAND and her mother was Sarah UNKNOWN. Her paternal grandparents were Osborne BLAND and Letitia (Lettice) "Lettie" HAMBRICK . She had five brothers and four sisters, named William , Daniel Richard, James , Isaac, Radford Sherman, Daughter, Lydia , Jane and Nancy. She was the third youngest of the ten children.-
