Lydia was born about 1820 in Perry Co., Or Conway Co., AR. Lydia 's father was Daniel BLAND and her mother was Sarah UNKNOWN. Her paternal grandparents were Osborne BLAND and Letitia (Lettice) "Lettie" HAMBRICK . She had five brothers and four sisters, named William , Daniel Richard, James , Isaac, Radford Sherman, Daughter, Jane , Sarah and Nancy. She was the fifth oldest of the ten children.-
