Samuel BLAND 
Samuel was born about 1789 in VA. Samuel 's father was Thomas Jr. BLAND and his mother was Sarah BYRNE. His paternal grandparents were Thomas BLAND and Jane SMITH ; his maternal grandparents were Samuel BYRNE and Clarissa "Clary" BUCKNER. He had two brothers named John Buckner and Thomas. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died after 1812 in Parkersburg, Wood Co., WV.General Notes
Note:
Samuel Bland was drafted in the War of 1812, went to Fort Meigs and through the great northwest campaign, but died at Anthony Buckner's house near Parkersburg on his return.
