  Note:
  1720; Left Kilkenny, Ireland for Prince William Co., VA. After 1720 he
  was the general surveyor for Prince William Co., VA. He was the surveyor
  who helped acquire Virginia Land. George Washington was an apprentice
  surveyor under George Byrn. Washington and Byrn surveyed personal
  property claims for each other.
  In 1744 George and Lydia adopted William Brown.
