Nancy was born on January 4th, 1793 in KY. Nancy 's father was Charles BLAND and her mother was Phillis Ann POPE. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin BLAND and Mary UNKNOWN. She had seven brothers and six sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Thomas, Benjamin, John , James, Charles Josiah, Hiram , Alexander, Sally (Jaley), Prudence , Mary , Elizabeth, Kesiah, Julianne and Mildred . She was the second oldest of the fifteen children.-
