Luke BLAND 
Luke was born in 1806 in Edgefield Co., SC. Luke's father was Presley BLAND and his mother was Martha BARRENTINE. His paternal grandparents were Robert BLAND and Jane Ann WORMLEY. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John P. , Sampson, Randall W., Emily, Mary , Martha and Caroline. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He had a half-sister named Avory.-
