Elizabeth was born on January 31st, 1799 in Luzerne Co, PA. Elizabeth's father was John Thomas Stocker and her mother was Catherine Deily. Her paternal grandparents were Adam Stocker and Maria Magdalena Beisel. She had four brothers and five sisters, named William, Thomas, Benjamin, Cornelius, Sarah, Catherine, Mary Madalaena, Christina and Susanna.-
