Richard was born about 1609 in England. Richard's father was William Phelps and his mother was Dorothy James. His paternal grandparents were James Phelps and Joan Mills. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William, James, George, Edward, Mary, Dorothy and Elizabeth.General Notes
Came to America with brothers William and Richard. Settled first at Dorchester, MAA. Left for Barbados on June 2, 1635. No further information available.
