Rachael's father was Edward P. (Neddy) Parrish and her mother was Prissocia Price. Her paternal grandparents were Richard (Ned) Parrish and Polly Mary Criss; her maternal grandparents were Amos Price and Rachel Tracy. She had five brothers and three sisters, named William H., Jesse W., Edward, Joshua, Daniel, Christina (Teany), Mary Ellen and Nancy.-
