Joseph Knots was born on July 6th, 1904 in Bridgeport, WV. Joseph Knots' father was George Austin Harrison and his mother was Leila Ann Virginia Bircher. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Joseph Harrison and Sarah Elizabeth Fenton; his maternal grandparents were George W. Bircher and Mary House. He had four brothers and a sister, named Benjamin Franklin, Fenton Bradford, Ander Thomas, Hubert Harold and Sylvia Maude. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 73 on November 13th, 1977 in Clarksburg, WV.General Notes
