Agnes de Aquitaine was born about 1020 in Aquitaine, France.1   Agnes de Aquitaine's father was Guillaume V le Grand Duc de Aquitaine and her mother was Agnes de Burgandy de Macon.  Her paternal grandparents were Guillaume IV Ironarm de Duc de Aquitaine and Emmeline de Blois; her maternal grandparents were Othon-Guillaume de Macon Ct de Macon & Nevers and Ermentrude de Roucy. She had two brothers named Guillaume (Pierre) VII and Guillaume VIII (Guido).  She was the oldest of the three children.  She died on December 14th, 1077 in Germany.  She was buried in Ruled the Holy Roman Empire in her son's name during most of his minority..1 1
