Hedwige was born in 0995 in of Namuer, Belgium.1 Hedwige's father was Albert de Namuer I Ct de Namuer and her mother was Ermengard (Adelaide) de Lorraine. Her paternal grandfather was Robert I Ct de Lomme; her maternal grandparents were Charles Duc de Lotharingia and Bonne Adelaide de Ardenne. She had a brother named Albert de Namuer II. She was the older of the two children. She died at the age of 80 in 1075.1 General Notes
