Laura Etta was born on May 11th, 1883 in Carroll County, Tennessee.1 Laura Etta's father was John Benjamin Williams and her mother was Nancy Angeline Reeder. Her paternal grandparents were Ephraim Williams and Frances Peeler; her maternal grandparents were Thomas R Reeder and Elendor Jane Moore. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Jesse Young, Newton Rolan, Louis Nathan, Ezra Neil, Frances Ellen, Hettie Geneva and Zora Leeila. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 89 on May 11th, 1972 in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennesse. She was buried in May 1972 in Humbles Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.1 1 General Notes
