Pauline Schaffner

Pauline was born on October 31st, 1871.¹   Pauline's father was Jacob Schaffner and her mother was Pauline Keng.  Her maternal grandparents were Friedrich Wilhelm Keng and Florentine Wilhemine Amalie Erfling. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Fritz, Julius, Clara, Emily and Adelia.  She was the third oldest of the six children.
