Phinetta was born on May 9th, 1869.1   Phinetta's father was Thomas R Reeder and her mother was Elendor Jane Moore.  Her paternal grandparents were James King Reeder and Elizabeth Harris. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Henry Newton, John Wilson, Ephraim T, Laura E, Nancy Angeline, Martha Florance, Elmeta, Harriett C and Georgia L.  She was the third youngest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 83 in 1952.1
