Austin Augustus was born in 1841.1 Austin Augustus' father was Austin Augustus King and his mother was Nancy Harris Roberts. His paternal grandparents were Walter King and Nancy Sevier. He had six brothers and a sister, named Walter, Frances, William Augustus, Edward Livingston, Henry, Thomas Benton and Melvina Elizabeth. He was the youngest of the eight children. He had two half-sisters named Nannie and Mary Belle.General Notes
