Susan Tate Harris 
Susan Tate was born on February 2nd, 1855 in Botetourt Co. Virginia.1 Susan Tate's father was Robert H Harris and her mother was Mary Rogers. Her paternal grandparents were Charles Harris and Mary Elizabeth ?; her maternal grandparents were (Rosser?) ROGERS and Sarah Ann UNKNOWN. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Palmer C, Peter Benjamin, James Henry, Charles Woodson, Abraham Lincoln, Andrew Johnson, Lauria Pamelia, Priscilla Jane and Timie L.. She was the third oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 72 on January 4th, 1928 in Lexington, (Rockbridge) Virginia. She was buried in Falling Springs, Rockbridge, Virginia.1 1 General Notes
