Palmer C was born on September 15th, 1851 in Botetourt Co. Virginia.1 Palmer C's father was Robert H Harris and his mother was Mary Rogers. His paternal grandparents were Charles Harris and Mary Elizabeth ?; his maternal grandparents were (Rosser?) ROGERS and Sarah Ann UNKNOWN. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Peter Benjamin, James Henry, Charles Woodson, Abraham Lincoln, Andrew Johnson, Lauria Pamelia, Susan Tate, Priscilla Jane and Timie L.. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 28 on December 10th, 1879 in Roanoke, , Virginia. He was buried in Roanoke, Denton Cem, Virginia.1 1 General Notes
