Ordulf of Saxony was born about 1020.1 Ordulf of Saxony's father was Bernhard II of Saxony Duke of Saxony and his mother was Elika von Schweinfurt. His paternal grandparents were Bernhard I of Saxony Duke of Saxony and Hildegarde von Stade; his maternal grandparents were Henry von Schweinfurt Ct de Schweinfurt and Gerberge von Henneberg.
