Francis Marion Dickins 
Francis Marion was born about 1843 in Humboldt, Gibson County, Tennessee.1 Francis Marion's father was Uriah Dickins and his mother was Susannah May. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Dickins and Mollie Stevens. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Thomas M, Erasmus Richard, William Lewis, Uriah Gillam, George E, Judith Ann, Emily K, Theresa M, Cassandra May, Judy A and Susan J. He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. He had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named James P, John M, Villenia, Bell, Cora and Ida. He died on October 19th, 1891 in Mayflower, Faulkner County, Tennessee. He was buried in October 1891 in Mayflower Cemetery, Mayflower, Faulkner County, Tennessee.1 1 General Notes
