John's father was Richard Corbin and his mother was Rebecca Farley.  His paternal grandparents were John Tayloe Corbin and Mary Weller; his maternal grandparents were James Parke Farley and Elizabeth Hill Byrd. He had a brother and three sisters, named James Parke, Catherine Carter, Elizabeth and Rebecca Parke Farley.  He died on December 8th, 1815.1
