Jasper Lafayette was born on November 22nd, 1855 in Denton County, Texas.1 Jasper Lafayette's father was John Carter and his mother was Sarah ?. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Hardin, Joseph, C, Hale, Ann, Jane and Sarah. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 63 on December 17th, 1918.1 General Notes
