C Carter

C was born about 1840 in Arkansas.¹   C's father was John Carter and his mother was Sarah ?. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Hardin, Joseph, Hale, Jasper Lafayette, Ann, Jane and Sarah.  He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
