Mary Polly was born on October 24th, 1832 in Tennessee.1   Mary Polly's father was Thomas Burkett and her mother was Sarah Young. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named James, David M, William, Isaac, Ephraim, Young, Levi, Augustus Marshall, Anna, Margaret and Sarah.  She died at the age of 73 on January 8th, 1906.  She was buried in Beech River Cemetery, Tennessee.1 1
