Thelma Lela Branum

Thelma Lela was born on May 7th, 1903 in Texas.¹   Thelma Lela's father was Lewis B Branum and her mother was Margaret A Perkins.  Her paternal grandparents were James Michael Branum and Martha Matilda Elrod. She had six brothers and six sisters, named Anderson, Lewis Washington, Michael, Robert Theodore, Nathaniel, Cris, Clara, Annie Adiline, Mary Jane, Cora Lee, Lena B and Ivory.  She died at the age of 66 on September 12th, 1969 in Roxton, Lamar County, Texas.  She was buried in September 1969 in Restland Cemetery, Roxton, Lamar County, Texas.^1 1
