Narrative
Alias:<ALIA> "Fighting /Parson"/
Graduated from the College of William and Mary and ordained by the Bishop
of London in 1765. Active against Stamp Act. In the winter of 1776 raised
a company and marched them to General Washington's aid in New Jersey.
Afterwards appointed Colonel of one of the regiments raised to defend
Virginia by General Washington. Magistrate and county judge. Elected to
the General Assembly.
