1 Butler's father was James Innes Thornton and her mother was Mary Glover. Her paternal grandparents were Francis Thornton(FallHill) and Sally\Sarah Innes. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Harry I., George F., Mary, Innes and Kate M.. She had two half-brothers and five half-sisters, named George Francis, Harry Innes, Katherine M., Innes, Delia Frances, Butler Brayne and Delia Mary.1 -
