Winore Thomas 
Winore was born on June 6th, 1865 in Exira, Audubon, Iowa.1 Winore's father was Benjamin F. Thomas and her mother was Sarah Roseanna Hamlin. Her maternal grandparents were Nathaniel Hamlin and Margaret Terrill Poage. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Benjamin V., Albert M., Arthur Benton, Carl Nathaniel, Lorena, Minnie, Lily, Alice, Nora and Dorothy. She was the oldest of the eleven children.1 General Notes
