John Reuben Terrill 
John Reuben was born on August 13th, 1768 in Virginia.1 John Reuben's father was Edmund Cruse Terrill and his mother was Margaret Willis. His paternal grandparents were Robert Terrill and Judith Towles; his maternal grandparents were Colonel Henry Willis and Mildred Washington. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Edmund, Robert, James, Elizabeth Plunkett, Mary Foster, Sarah, Jane, Nancy M., Francis Washington and Lucy Lacy. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 81 on July 21st, 1850 in near Armstrong, Mo.. He was buried in Family Cemetery Armstrong. Mo.1 1 General Notes
