Major Francis Taylor 
Major Francis' father was George Taylor and his mother was Rachel Gibson. His paternal grandparents were Colonel James II Taylor and Martha Thompson; his maternal grandparents were Jonathan Gibson and Elizabeth Thornton. He had nine brothers named Major James, Lieutenant Jonathan, Captain Edmond, Dr. Charles, Major William, Captain Reuben, Benjamin, Lieutenant John and Richard, Commodore. He died in 1799.-
