Mildred Thornton Meriwether 
Mildred Thornton was born in 1739.1 Mildred Thornton's father was Nicholas Meriwether and her mother was Mildred Thornton. Her maternal grandparents were Francis Thornton and Mary Taliaferro. She had four half-brothers and eight half-sisters, named John, Thomas, Reuben, Francis, Mary, Susannah, Lucy, Elizabeth, Mildred, Sarah, Martha and Peachy. She died at the age of 24 in 1763.1 General Notes
