Sarah was born in 1689 in Chemokins, Gloucester Co, VA.1 Sarah's father was John, Colonel Lewis and her mother was Elizabeth Warner. Her paternal grandparents were Hugh John, Major Lewis and Isabella Warner; her maternal grandparents were Augustine, Colonel & Speaker Warner and Mildred Reade. She had six brothers and nine sisters, named David, Charles Lewis of the, Abraham, Robert Lewis of, John Lewis of Warner, William, Mildred, Angelica, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Elizabeth II, Isabella, Ann, Catherine and Mary. She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, and also a half-sibling of unknown gender, named John, John, Charles, Elizabeth, Elizabeth and 5 Other Children.1 General Notes
