Rachel was born in 1716. Rachel's father was John Jacob and her mother was Mary Swanson. Her paternal grandparents were Captain John Jacob and Anne Cheney. She had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Jeremiah, Zachariah, Mary and Charity.-
