Her paternal grandparents were John, Jr. Field and Elen Hutchinsson; her maternal grandparents were Captain Christopher Stanley and UNKNOWN Susanna. She had nine brothers and two sisters, named John, Robert, William, Thomas, Robert, Daniel, Thomas, John, Thomas, Sarah and Sarah.-
