William Dutton

William was born about 1345.  William's father was Thomas, Governor Halton Castle Dutton and his mother was Eleanor Ellen Thornton.  His paternal grandparents were Hugh Dutton and Joan Jane Holland; his maternal grandparents were Peter Thornton and Lucia Hellesby. He had six brothers named Peter, Thomas, Lawrence, Edmund, Henry and Hugh.  He was the second youngest of the seven children.
