Ruth was born in 1685. Ruth's father was Doctor Daniel Doane and her mother was Hepzebah Cole. Her paternal grandparents were Deacon John Doane and UNKNOWN Anne; her maternal grandparents were Daniel Cole and Ruth Chester. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Son, Daniel, Joseph, Israel, Nathaniel, Rebecca, Abigail, Hepzibah and Constant or Constance.-
