Israel was born in 1672. Israel's father was Doctor Daniel Doane and his mother was Hepzebah Cole. His paternal grandparents were Deacon John Doane and UNKNOWN Anne; his maternal grandparents were Daniel Cole and Ruth Chester. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Son, Daniel, Joseph, Nathaniel, Rebecca, Abigail, Hepzibah, Ruth and Constant or Constance.-
