His paternal grandparents were Jacob Hornor and Rebecca Ann Eastlack; his maternal grandparents were Bennett Andrew and Mary Leah Dillon. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Ezra, Charles William, Jacob Andrew, Almira, Harriet , Adeline, Anett and Sarah Elizabeth.General Notes
