Charles William was born on December 21st, 1850 in probably Harrison County, Indiana. Charles William's father was Samuel Horner and his mother was Mary Leah "Polly" Andrew. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Hornor and Rebecca Ann Eastlack; his maternal grandparents were Bennett Andrew and Mary Leah Dillon. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Ezra, Seth Alexander, Jacob Andrew, Almira, Harriet , Adeline, Anett and Sarah Elizabeth. He died at the age of 1 on August 18th, 1852 in near Palmyra, Harrison County, Indiana.General Notes
