Simon Comyn 
Simon was born in 1152 in Altyre, Morayshire, Scotland. Simon's father was Richard Comyn and his mother was Hextilda Tynedale. His paternal grandparents were William Comyn and Maude Banaster; his maternal grandparents were Huctred Tynedale and Bethoe Princess of Scotland Dane. He had four brothers and a sister, named John, Odo (Odinell), David, William and Idonea. He was the third youngest of the six children.
